LAPTOP RENTAL POLICY

Netcom provides laptop and IT equipment rental services for businesses, students, professionals, events, training programs, projects, and temporary technology requirements.

1. Rental Booking

Customers can request a laptop rental by providing the required rental details, including the preferred laptop specification, rental period, quantity, delivery location, and contact information.

A rental booking will be considered confirmed only after Netcom confirms the availability of the requested equipment and the applicable rental charges.

2. Rental Period

The rental period will begin on the agreed delivery or collection date.

Customers must return the rented equipment on or before the agreed return date.

Any extension must be requested and approved by Netcom before the original rental period expires.

3. Rental Charges

Rental charges depend on the laptop model, specifications, quantity, rental duration, location, and other applicable requirements.

The applicable charges will be communicated to the customer before the rental is confirmed.

Additional charges may apply for extended rental periods, late returns, damage, missing accessories, or other additional services.

4. Security Deposit

Netcom may require a refundable security deposit depending on the equipment, rental duration, customer, or rental value.

The deposit may be used to cover eligible damage, loss, missing accessories, unpaid charges, or other amounts payable by the customer.

Any eligible remaining balance will be refunded after the equipment has been inspected and outstanding charges have been settled.

5. Equipment Usage

Customers must use rented equipment responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

Customers must not:

  • Modify the laptop hardware without permission.
  • Remove or replace internal components.
  • Install unauthorized or malicious software.
  • Attempt to bypass security features.
  • Use the equipment for unlawful activities.
  • Transfer or sub-rent the equipment without Netcom's approval.

6. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for the rented equipment during the rental period.

Customers should protect the equipment from water, excessive heat, physical impact, theft, unauthorized access, and other conditions that may cause damage.

7. Software and Data

Customers are responsible for their own files, applications, accounts, and data stored on the rented laptop.

Customers should maintain independent backups of important information.

Netcom is not responsible for loss of customer data caused by hardware failure, software issues, accidental deletion, malware, or other circumstances.

8. Equipment Inspection

Netcom may inspect equipment before delivery and after return.

Any damage, missing accessories, or other issues identified during the inspection may result in applicable charges.

9. Rental Extension

Customers who require additional rental days should contact Netcom before the agreed return date.

Extensions are subject to equipment availability and applicable additional rental charges.
